​The trekking tour will incorporate many different features in order to make it the best experience for you. We have experienced guides who speak good English and will show you the best spots of the desert during your journey. The trip will have many different elements to it in order to give you an unique experience, we will visit springs, canyons, open deserts and more.

​

All of our hiking locations have been specifically chosen to limit the noise and sights of tourism for your trip. In this trip all meals are provided and you will have two tour guides, one for trekking and one to drive the jeep with your luggage, the food and equipment. You will be provided with high quality sleeping bags and all the equipment you will need for the hike.

DAY 1

 

We will commerce the trekking adventure at 9 am, right from the Wadi Rum Village. To ensure an authentic and crowd-free experience, we'll whisk you away by jeep directly to the iconic Burdah Bridge, where the trail begins.

Prepare for a challenging yet rewarding trek, as you ascend the mesmerizing Burdah Bridge. This approximately 3-hour hike will take you to towering heights and offer panoramic views that are well worth the effort. A hearty lunch awaits you upon your descent.

Next, we venture to Um Muqur, a serene spot where your evening will be marked by a magnificent sunset followed by a traditional Maglubah dinner—an immersive taste of local flavors. As the day winds down, rest inside a cave, under the stars, embracing the tranquility of the surroundings.

DAY 2

​

Fuel up with a hearty breakfast as we kick off the second day of your exhilarating hike. Today's journey takes you through the captivating Nuqra Canyon, a landscape filled with geological wonders and breathtaking vistas.

Pause for a scenic lunch break at a carefully chosen viewpoint, allowing you to relish your meal while taking in the awe-inspiring surroundings. As you continue through the winding paths of Nuqra Canyon, the rugged beauty unfolds, creating an immersive connection with the desert.

The day's adventure crescendos at the highest point in Jordan—Um Addami. Embrace the achievement as you set up camp in this elevated desert haven. Indulge in a traditional Bedouin feast featuring Mansaf, savoring the flavors of Jordan under the expansive desert sky. With Um-Addami as your backdrop, prepare for a night of tranquility and unparalleled stargazing.

DAY 3

Awaken to the promise of a new day and kickstart it with a hearty breakfast, gearing up for an unforgettable adventure. Your morning unfolds with a hike to the majestic summit of Um Addami, offering breathtaking views that stretch as far as to Saudi Arabia and the Red Sea.

Following the descent to the camp spot, a well-deserved lunch awaits, creating a moment to rejuvenate and relish the tranquility of the desert surroundings.

The journey continues towards the enchanting Hudaybat Almaghar. After the sun sets, the evening comes alive with the sizzle of a barbecue feast. Under the expansive desert sky, indulge in the flavors of a delectable barbecue and unwind in the company of fellow explorers.

DAY 4

​

Start your fourth day with a satisfying breakfast, preparing for a day of exploration. Your journey kicks off with a hike to the panoramic view spot of Wadi Sabeth, offering a breathtaking vista of the expansive desert landscape.

Following the scenic overview, embark on a hike to the enchanting Um Gadah canyon, a natural marvel awaiting your discovery. Lunch is served at the beginning of the canyon, providing a delightful pause to savor the tranquility of this rugged terrain.

Continue your trek through the captivating Um Gadah canyon, where towering cliffs and winding passages create an immersive experience in the heart of the desert. As the day winds down, find solace at Um Al-Samn, your resting place for the night. Dinner awaits in the form of a traditional Bedouin dish, Kabsa, inviting you to savor the flavors of the desert under the star-studded sky, marking the conclusion of another day of unforgettable exploration.

DAY 5

​

Today's adventure begins with a hike from Um Al-Samn to the base of Quatar mountain, where we will hike up to a mountain spring, embarking on a captivating hike around the majestic Quatar mountain, uncovering ancient inscriptions that tell tales of a time long past. Immerse yourself in the history etched into the rocks as you explore the ancient trails. Arriving at the second spring, savor a leisurely lunch amid the tranquil desert surroundings.

As the day unfolds, your path leads you towards the Wadi Rum Cave Camp, our base camp that offers showers and toilets. Take a moment to relax and rejuvenate, reflecting on the memories created during your desert journey.

Conclude your desert experience with Zarb served for dinner at the camp, savoring the last moments under the desert sky. As night falls, retire to your cozy sleeping quarters, surrounded by the peaceful embrace of the Wadi Rum Cave camp, marking the end of an extraordinary five-day journey through the heart of Wadi Rum.

The following morning, after breakfast, all participants will be transported by jeep back to Wadi Rum Village, where the journey will officially end.
